FBC UK is one of Britain’s leading biscuit manufacturers, born from the union of two iconic heritage brands — Fox’s Biscuits and Burton’s Biscuits. Their Livingston site (formerly Paterson Arran) produces renowned shortbread, biscuits and oatcakes for the UK market and beyond.

Prior to our engagement, the site was reliant on a redundant and partially manual recipe weighing system that was slow, difficult to use, and frequently led to paper‑based workarounds. This not only hindered operational efficiency but also created unnecessary complexity and risk in the production process.

Over a single weekend, TraceSense completely replaced the outdated system with a fully automated digital solution, and then worked around the clock to ensure a smooth rollout and full operational readiness.
